Ice cream recall issued due to potential plastic contamination

Wells Enterprises, the parent company of popular ice cream brands such as Blue Bunny, Halo Top, Bomb Pops, Blue Ribbon classic ice cream treats and the Cheesecake Factory, has issued a voluntary recall of over a dozen ice cream varieties.
The recall was issued over potential plastic in the ice cream products, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
22 ice cream varieties recalled
Three-gallon tubs of 22 different ice cream brands are involved in the recall. The ice cream was distributed from 103 centers across the United States.

- Johnny Rockets Vanilla Flavored Ice Cream: 100 3-gallon tubs
- BIPC Flavored Ice Cream: 1,858 3-gallon tubs
- Vanilla Frozen Yogurt: 5,280 3-gallon tubs
- Vanilla Flavored Ice Cream: 961 3-gallon tubs
- GFGB 12% Vanilla Flavored Ice Cream: 109 3-gallon tubs
- Gordon Choice Vanilla Flavored Ice Cream: 1,080 3-gallon tubs
